Public-Private Partnerships Conference

In connection with the Belt and Road Initiative, this international conference was aimed to explore the massive untapped opportunities for infrastructure projects in Belt and Road countries and, more specifically, how to use public-private partnerships to unlock such opportunities. Expert speakers, such as State representatives and project stakeholders, shared their solid expertise and rich experiences in public-private partnership projects, discussing how opportunities have been harnessed and how challenges have been overcome. Special focus was also given to assessing, allocating and avoiding risks in infrastructure projects as well as ensuring the sustainability of public-private partnership projects. This event was well attended by an audience of over 220 and graced with the presence of the Honourable Mrs Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR, Dr Weng Jieming, Vice Chairman and Member of SASAC, Mr Zhao Jiankai, Deputy Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Hong Kong SAR, Mr Liu Yajun, Deputy Director-General of the Economic Affairs Department of LOCPG in the Hong Kong SAR, Ms Teresa Cheng, Secretary for Justice of the Hong Kong SAR etc.
